Yet Another Health Tip

You may notice a recent rash of health tips – and there is a great reason.  Professional performers travel, come into contact with lots of people and, when they can’t carry a tissue like Danno Sullivan suggested on April Fool’s Day – they need to take care of themselves.  Trust me, these tips may not seem trivial to some, but they are an important part of the lifestyle.

Barry Friedman, corporate entertainer and creator of The Showbiz Blueprint,  shares with us how having a child at forty got him off the couch and working hard. Part of that path has been a gluten-free diet.

When you are on-stage in front of an audience, you want to look and be at your best.  However, before you start any diet or exercise program, make sure to consult your physician!

As someone who hates reading about diet, I found they had Living Gluten-Free For Dummies after my interview with Barry. Wow – it was a much easier read than some of the other gluten-free information I found. The wife and I are planning on giving it a try!

I’ve also had some friends try juicing.  They lost weight and felt great.  Although I am not as familiar with this as some, this site was recommended as a good way to learn about and follow a juicing diet.
