Magician David Farr discusses the mindset of the Birthday Party Mom and how it hasn’t changed over the years he has performed parties. When he used the Yellow Pages (remember those?) as an example, I shared that I never advertised in them as a matter of positioning myself for the clients I wanted to serve.

Today, the yellow pages are rapidly becoming a dinosaur. Google has become the new yellow pages – and to be found, you have to market yourself properly.
