An Agent’s Goal

Terry Gehman has been an agent for about 30 years.  He specializes in fairs and festivals, but has also worked with corporate clients, theatres, and other markets.  Today is the first part of an interview that will hopefully open your eyes about talent agents and how they work.  My sincere hope is that these interviews will give you ideas to implement so that when you approach an agent, you have a better understanding of how you can help them serve their clients.

Note: Please DO NOT contact Terry!  After 30 years in the business, he is slowing down and transitioning to retirement.

Today Terry talks about his goals for a client. It isn’t about booking your act, it isn’t about getting the job – it is completely about making them and their audience happy. You may be thinking that you can do that – but if that is your first thought – then you will learn a lot from Terry’s future clips!
